Are you frustrated by traffic jams, bad roads, overcrowded schools, loss of farmland, and our county becoming a garbage dump for Silicon Valley? These problems result from years of shortsighted decisions by our County Supervisors who were unduly influenced by developers & special interests.

Good news: This November, you can help take back our county by voting "Yes" on a citizens' Initiative, titled "Empower Voters to Make Land Use Decisions" . This Initiative allows you to vote on projects like Strada Verde, the landfill expansion, and housing developments on Fairview, Union & Buena Vista roads.

Over 16 years ago, the voters in four California counties (Napa, Sonoma, Ventura and Stanislaus) passed similar initiatives and halted sprawl development. Today, they still have significant agriculture and open space, plus strong economies. The residents of these counties are happier with their quality of life than the residents of other overcrowded counties. We hope to follow in the footsteps of these three visionary counties.
